Shipyard Electricians: Seattle, WA (Ballard Area)

We are recruiting for immediate hire for Shipyard Electricians in Seattle, WA 

Type of Assignment: Commercial Boat Repair 

Duration: Long Term Assignment 


We are looking for experienced journeyman level and above craft workers with over 3 years commercial shipbuilding or repair experience. 


Local Pay

ST Pay: $24.00 - $30.00  

OT Pay: $36.00 - $45.00


Non-Local Pay

ST Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 

OT Pay: $33.00 - $36.00

Daily Per Diem $125.00


Must be able to pass a background check and have your own reliable transportation.

Shipyard New Construction & Repair

Pipe Welders & Fitters: Seattle, WA & Portland, OR

Type of Assignment: Navy Repair & Commercial Construction  

Duration: Long Term Assignment 


Testing & Background Requirements: 

  • Drug test required  
  • Pipe Welders is required to pass MIL-STD-248D inspected to 2035 Class 1 Welder
  • All NAVSEA pipe tests will be accomplished in the restricted (ring/box) 6GR position.
  • NAVSEA Socket tests will be accomplished using GTAW in the 4F & 5F position on ½”      Schedule 10 (S3).


POSITION DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to weld on navy and commercial vessels in the 6GR (Restricted) position      including mirror welding.
  • Ability to weld using any of the following processes: SMAW, GTAW, or FCAW
  • Ability to weld any or all: carbon steel, stainless steel, copper nickel (CuNi), and      aluminum.


We are looking for experienced journeyman level and above craft workers with over 3 years shipbuilding or repair experience. 


Travel Assistance and Per Diem available for those who qualify - Health Care available after 30 days on

Average Weekly Compensation $2,500 - $2,700   


Outside Machinist: Seattle, WA & Portland, OR

Type of Assignment: Navy Repair & Commercial Construction  

Duration:  April -June 2021

· Must be a US Citizen 

· Drug Free Worksite

Combo Welder/Shipfitter: Nationwide

Type of Assignment: Navy Repair & Commercial Construction  

Duration: Long Term Assignment 


POSITION DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS

Customer Testing Includes: 

· 101TM FCAW 3 Position 1” plate weld test (X-ray)

· Be able to pass client 248 Steel Standards training class 

· OSHA 10 Maritime Card

· Must be a US Citizen 

· Drug Free Worksite

  • Flights will be coordinated accordingly, travel assistance available based on need
  • Drug test required  
  • Craft workers are required to pass customer NAVSEA test
  • OHSA 10 & DBIDS required

Seattle, WA - Mobile Yacht Repair Facility

Marine Service Technician 

Marine diesel engine, mechanical systems, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting.  This is a wonderful opportunity for someone looking to grow a career in the Greater Seattle yacht repair industry.  If you’ re up for a dynamic work environment with a top performance company, read on!
 

Description:

  • Perform routine  mechanical maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and assembly of marine diesel engine systems and components. 
  • Willingness to learn new skills such as electrical power distribution systems.
  • The Service Technician must provide own basic tools.
  • Travel to and from shop to boat moorages to perform work on vessels. 
  • Ability to drive company vehicles required. 

Desired Experience:

  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
  • 2-4 Years mechanical experience, marine mechanical experience preferred but automotive experience and high aptitude with engine mechanics considered.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and in physically demanding conditions.
  • Ability to lift heavy items, work in confined spaces.
  • Some  fabrication, and/or experience with marine paint schemes a plus.
  • Machining experience a plus.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office-Word, Excel and Outlook a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers


$18.00 - $28.00 per hour – Health Care available after 30 days on the job.
